Olive or vegetable oil
Our champion cheese, Le Louis Cyr
Italian sausages or other cooked meat from the fridge
Red onion
Yellow bell pepper
BBQ sauce
Salt and pepper
Chopped parsley
Preheat the oven to 425 °F (220 °C).
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into sticks and brush them with a little olive or vegetable oil—season and place on a baking sheet. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Turn halfway through cooking.
While the fries are cooking, slice the sausages, red onion, and yellow bell pepper.
In a skillet, cook the sausage slices in a drizzle of oil for about five (5) minutes. Add the onion and yellow pepper strips and cook for another five (5) minutes. Set aside.
Prepare BBQ sauce in a saucepan.
Grate the Le Louis Cyr and set aside.
When the fries are cooked, assemble the poutines by placing the sausage, vegetables, Le Louis Cyr cheese and sauce in bowls. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
