La Réconfortante Poutine

Are you known for making the best homemade spaghetti sauce? Put it to good use in this comforting poutine recipe. Rest assured, our Brins de Gouda won’t melt in the sauce, trying not to steal your thunder.

Ingredients

Russet potatoes (also known as Idaho potatoes)

Olive oil

Our Brins de Gouda

Homemade or store-bought spaghetti sauce

Chili flakes

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 220° C (425° F).

  2. Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into sticks and brush them with a bit of olive or vegetable oil. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown. Turn halfway through cooking.

  3. While fries are cooking, reheat homemade or store-bought spaghetti sauce.

  4. Assemble poutines by spooning a dollop of Brins de Gouda over fries and topping with a generous portion of spaghetti sauce.

  5. Sprinkle with chili flakes.
