Bergeron Stuffed Pork Tenderloins

How about a pork tenderloin stuffed with our Le Classique Smoked cheese or our Mild Smoked Gouda? Who knew you could do this? The meat, apples, maple syrup, and that woody cheese combination will have you drooling!

Ingredients

2 small red onions cut into strips

2 chopped garlic cloves

2 tbsp. of butter

2 Cortland apples cut into quarters

2 tbsp. of maple syrup

2 pork tenderloins

Instructions
  1. Preheat the BBQ to medium-high.

  2. In a frying pan, brown the onions and garlic in the butter.

  3. Add the apples and maple syrup, and simmer for a few minutes until the onions are tender and the apples are still crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. On a work surface, slit the pork tenderloins lengthwise without cutting them completely.

  5. Spread the onion, garlic, and apple mixture in the centre of the pork tenderloins and add a few Le Classique Smoked cheese slices. Close and tie tightly.

  6. Place the pork tenderloins on the pre-oiled BBQ grill and cook for 18 to 20 minutes, making sure to reach an internal temperature of 68 °C (155 °F) on a cooking thermometer.

  7. Decorate the pork tenderloins by adding a few slices of Le Classique Smoked on top. The final touch brings a balanced roasted flavour.

  8. Serve with grilled vegetables, and you’re done!
