Fromagerie Bergeron: The Canadian Gouda since 1989

Founded in 1989 from a family expertise since 1940, Fromagerie Bergeron is established as the Canadian master Gouda maker. Starting with the original Dutch recipe for Gouda, the Bergeron developed the unique and distinctive ‘’Bergeron’’ taste with his red wax. The products offer counts more than 15 ripened cheeses decorated with over a hundred awards won at local and international cheese contests. 

Today, the company’s mission is to position Fromagerie Bergeron as a leader in the cheese industry and to remain committed to preserving the unique character and taste that’s all its own.
