Every year, Fromagerie Bergeron participates in the American Cheese Society competition to present its best cheeses. On July 11th, we were delighted to learn that three of our cheeses had won 3rd place in their respective categories at this competition. LE SEIGNEUR DE TILLY 18 MONTHS – Winner in the category of Light/Lite andReduced Fat cheesesWith its fine roasted notes and slightly crumbly texture, Le Seigneur de Tilly 18 months charmed the judges, earning a distinguished spot among the best cheeses. LE SIX POURCENT – Winner in the category fat free andlow fat cheeses This cheese, with 6% fat content, managed to secure an honorable 3rd place while maintaining a pleasant texture despite its low fat percentage. LE CLASSIQUE CUMIN – Winner in the open category cheeses with flavour added, All milks and mixed milks Our Classique Cumin, with its delicately integrated cumin seeds, delighted the judges’ taste buds, earning a well-deserved 3rd place. These distinctions once again highlight the quality and expertise of Fromagerie Bergeron across America. On September 28, 2023, Fromagerie Bergeron launched its new recruitment campaign under the slogan "WE Are Bergeron." Following an employee survey and internal reflection, this slogan and four key values naturally emerged as the basis for this new employer brand. "WE Are Bergeron" is a powerful statement about how we all work together day-to-day as a team and as part of the Bergeron family. Our values define who we are as an organization and guide our daily actions. "Pleasure, quality, kindness, and commitment are at the heart of Fromagerie Bergeron's priorities, and we want our employees to experience these values," says Marie-Eve Fecteau, Human Resources Director. Over the past few months, a video and new photos have been produced to showcase these values and the people who are part of "WE Are Bergeron." A campaign is planned for this fall to present the cheese factory in an authentic way so that future candidates can identify with the great team that is Fromagerie Bergeron. We hope that this new employer brand will attract new talent to our team while further enhancing the sense of belonging among current employees.
