That’s why we’ve committed to a long-term partnership with Moisson Québec, the leading food bank in the region, to support Quebec families who are struggling to put meals on the table. This latest honour brings the total number of awards for this standout Québec-made cheese to 16, a reflection of the family-run company’s passion and expertise. Made from milk from cows primarily fed dry hay, Louis Cyr stands out with its slightly crumbly yet creamy texture, and rich notes of caramel, fresh hazelnuts, and dried fruit. Louis Cyr: A Delicious Tribute to a Quebec Hero Named after Louis Cyr, the legendary strongman and national icon, this cheese embodies the strength, character, and bold spirit of Québec.
