Ingredients

  • 250g (1 package) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 125 ml (½ cup) sour cream
  • 1 package (170 g) Bergeron Le P’tit Bonheur cheese, grated
  • 125 ml (½ cup) cooked bacon, chopped (about 5 slices)
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) chopped chives
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers, for serving

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Stir in the Bergeron Le P’tit Bonheur cheese, bacon, maple syrup, chives, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, set on a baking sheet, and bake 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbling hot and lightly golden.
  4. Serve immediately with toasted baguette slices or crackers.
