For the Smash Burger Tacos:
- Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F). Set a baking sheet next to the stove.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the chili powder and salt.
- Divide the meat into 6 portions. Spread and press each portion of meat directly onto a tortilla, ensuring the meat reaches the edges, as it will shrink during cooking.
- In a lightly oiled skillet over medium-high heat, place a
tortilla, meat side down. Cook for 3 minutes, pressing occasionally with a spatula. Flip and cook for another minute. - Transfer the cooked tortilla to the prepared baking sheet, top with a slice of smoked Bergeron cheese, and keep warm in the oven.
- Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
To Serve: Garnish each taco with spicy mayonnaise, sliced avocado, a drizzle of lime juice, cherry tomatoes, and crushed tortilla chips. Serve immediately.
