Sandwich à la Bergeron

A sandwich just isn’t a sandwich without cheese!  So you may as well choose a quality cheese to get the best taste possible. In this recipe we use Bergeron Classique®, a fine, firm-ripened cheese that’s lactose free and ultra-versatile. With its hint of fresh hazelnuts, it adds a refined flavour to these roll-ups that’s sure to please the entire family!

Ham Roll-Ups
Preparation: 15 minutes • Quantity: 4 servings
PER PORTION: 294 calories; proteins 20 g; fat 13 g; carbohydrates 23 g; fibre 1 g; iron 1 mg; calcium 314 mg; sodium 809 mg

Ingredients
4 medium tortillas
8 leaves romaine lettuce
12 thin slices ham
140 g (about 1/3 lb) Bergeron Classique® cheese, thinly sliced

For the dip:
125 ml (½ cup) 0% plain Greek yogurt
15 ml (1 tbsp.) honey
15 ml (1 tbsp.) old fashioned mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the dip. Divide into sealable containers and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  2. Top each tortilla with lettuce, ham slices and cheese slices. Roll up the tortillas tightly. Cut the rolls into rounds.
  3. Divide rounds into sealable containers and refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

  1. When ready to eat, serve the roll-ups with the dip.
